NHPA II provides an opportunity to serious dancers, ages 7-19yrs, who are interested in taking their dance training to the next level. The NHPA II Dance Company is a competition/performance group program that has been well-established in the Houston area, as well as across Texas, by providing the next generation of up and coming dance artists extra performance opportunities each season. Being a member of the Company allows these young dancers to develop their technique and artistry with more focus, intensity, and at a higher level of commitment which promotes accelerated progress in the art of dance each season.
All dancers interested in becoming a member of the NHPA II Dance Company must attend our annual auditions held each Fall (usually end of August / beginning of September).
NHPA II Dance Company rehearsals are held consistently throughout the season on weekdays and weekends, starting mid-late September and wrapping up in mid-July.
Performance opportunities include: 2 regional competitions, the Annual NHPA II Recitals, 1 Nationals competition in June/July, and various community performances throughout the season.
